Let’s Take a Walk

If you’re feeling gloomy or bored, go for a walk. A short walk almost always makes you feel better. Researchers from Northern Arizona University found that just 10 minutes of moderate exercise — a brisk stroll, for instance — both improves your mood and re-energizes you. Walk in the suburbs and note what your neighbors are planting in their gardens or who is remodeling. Leave your office building in the city at lunchtime for a break in the routine or to do some daily chores. You’ll come back feeling refreshed.
